Awards - Victorian Drama league and the Lyrebird Awards - 2007

Encore's production of Shadowlands directed by Mark Stratford was a stand out show. David Small played C.S.Lewis and won the Best Actor Award from both the VDL and Lyrebird. Encore received nominations from the Lyrebird Awards for its production of I Remember Mama directed by Ron Conroy. Jonathon Bailey won the Best Junior Actor Award.

Awards - Victorian Drama League 2006

It was another successful year for Encore Theatre Group, celebrated again at the VDL awards night. Encore received 7 nominations for the presentation of "The Importance of Being Earnest." Special praise goes to all our nominees, especially Dina Mac Namara who won the Silver Award for Best Costume Design!
