When Rosie Lake, the proprietress of the Delamere Private Hotel, stumbles across the strangled body of one of her residents, she faints! But when Rosie comes to, there is no body and no evidence to prove a crime ever took place. She tries in vain to convince her other lodgers, but with her drinking reputation, it is all taken with a pinch of salt That is, until strange things begin to occur... "A baffling murder mystery and brilliant comedy are joined together."
