July Season: the Odd Couple by Neil Simons
Neil Simon has written a very clever play about a group of men who meet every Friday night for
a friendly card game. All the characters have their own problems in life but the focus is on Oscar Madison and
Felix Unger. The play was first performed on Broadway in 1965 and it won a Tony award. It was made into a very
successful film with Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau in 1968.
